- The executive committee formed of president, vice president (both elected for one year), secretary, and treasurer (both elected for 2 years).
- These positions are allocated according to general election.
- These positions are allocated timely and alternatively between orthopedic and neurosurgical active members.
- This means that if the president is Ortho, the vice president will be Neuro, and this is reversed next cycle (one year), and if the secretary is Neuro, the treasurer will be Ortho, and this is reversed next cycle (two years).
- Directors and members of different ESA committees and regional directors are allocated by the executive committee from active ESA members for two years.
- Directors of different committees are allocated equally and alternatively between Neuro and Ortho members.
